Haizea NYC is the latest venture that completes the circle of Chef Mikel de Luis’ passion for the food and culture of his own tradition. In addition to running a successful event company for numerous years and marketing his own condiments, Chef de Luis has decided to give a home to his creations and call it Haizea. Haizea means Wind in Basque. As it’s name suggests, Haizea is a Basque and Catalan-inspired intimate restaurant, featuring small contemporary plates.
