Prado de Irache VP
Prado Irache is located in Ayegui, two kilometres from Estella, so in Tierra Estella area.
The estate received its VP status in 2009, making it the second vineyard in Navarra to receive the honour, but this is an old-established winery (1891) right beside the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago), and it incorporates a courtyard with a wine fountain for pilgrims, as well as a wine museum.
The vineyard has a unique microclimate which is heavily influenced by its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, 90km away.
