White varieties approved: Merseguera and Viura (or Macabeo) are recommended. Also authorized are Chardonnay, Malvasía, Moscatel de Grano Menudo and Sauvignon Blanc.
Red varieties approved: Garnacha, Monastrell, Tempranillo (or Cencibel) are recommended. Also authorized are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Syrah.
Maximum crop is 10,000 kg/ha (yield 70 hl/ha) for white varieties and 8,000 kg/ha (yield 56hl/ha) for red varieties.
